Anssi Lehikoinen represents one of Epical’s main owners, KPY, on the Epical board. He serves as the CEO of KPY and is a board member of several KPY-owned companies. Lehikoinen has background in deep tech, M&A, and international business development. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics and an M.Sc. in Engineering, and brings broad experience in strategic growth, portfolio development, and building long-term value in technology-driven businesses.  

Teemu Salmi has held senior leadership roles across the IT and telecommunications sectors and currently serves as CEO of Enea. He brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership, transformation, business development and strategy execution. Recognized as Finland’s CIO of the Year in 2020, his background in scaling organizations and guiding complex initiatives will be instrumental as Epical continues its growth journey, where Salmi will act as a strategic sounding board to leadership and aims to help open doors to new business opportunities. 

Kadir Kumral represents one of Epical’s main owners, Mandatum Asset Management Growth Equity II fund, bringing a track record that includes investing, corporate strategy and transaction execution. Prior to Mandatum, he worked in management consulting at Bain & Company and gained early career experience in investment banking in both Finland and the UK. His focus areas include mergers & acquisitions, corporate strategy, and large-scale transformations. On Epical’s board, Kumral will help position the company for scalable expansion, advising on prospective acquisitions and refining strategic direction as AI and data reshape every industry. 

Jere Helenius has held senior roles building global AI, data and platform capabilities and currently serves as CTO at Bo Family Group. He brings more than 15 years of experience in scaling high-impact, data-driven organizations across B2B and B2C. Previously Head of AI, Data Science & Analytics at Palo Alto Networks, Helenius helped grow the company from a startup to S&P 500 scale and has been recognized as a Global Top 100 Data & Analytics Professional in 2024 & 2025. His background in turning advanced AI into long-term business advantage will support Epical’s efforts to drive growth, scale its offerings, strengthen long-term competitiveness, and continue translating deep technical expertise into tangible, trusted customer value.  

Ilkka Sammelvuo has led technology driven businesses in senior roles and currently serves as CEO at Ropo. He brings extensive experience in scaling organizations, technology leadership with a strong business focus, and growth execution in private equity-owned environments. With 10 years of experience as CTO and his current CEO responsibilities, he has helped guide Ropo from a €0.5 revenue startup to a +€100M ARR scaleup. On Epical’s board, Sammelvuo will support Epical’s leadership and offer distinctive perspectives to support the company’s transformation as it pursues future growth.
