Our ESG ambition

Epical’s ESG work is guided by a clear ambition: to operate responsibly, transparently and with long-term value creation at the core. Sustainability is embedded in our strategy, culture and day-to-day decision-making, from talent development and leadership to customer delivery and business operations.

Our approach is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and informed by a double materiality assessment, helping us focus on the areas where we can create the greatest impact – both for society and for Epical’s long-term resilience.

Governance and ownership

Our ESG work is led by a cross-functional ESG team representing Management, HR, Finance and Communications. Together with Epical’s leadership team and Board of Directors, the team ensures that environmental, social and governance considerations are integrated across the organisation and aligned with our long-term strategy.

Our focus areas

In 2026, Epical employees selected three UN Sustainable Development Goals to guide our sustainability priorities. These goals reflect both our values and the areas where we can make the greatest contribution as a data consultancy.

At Epical, we take a proactive and structured approach to employee well-being. Through regular engagement surveys and continuous dialogue, we monitor employee experience and use insights to improve our work environment.

Our employees are supported through:

  • Community-driven initiatives with dedicated budgets
  • Programmes that strengthen connection, engagement and work-life balance

Our Greenhouse initiative enables consultants between assignments to contribute to internal projects, continue learning and create value. By connecting skills with internal needs, we maintain engagement, accelerate development and strengthen our collective capabilities.

Innovation with purpose

Internally, we continue to strengthen our capabilities by:

  • Developing company-wide AI capabilities and governance
  • Advancing information security in line with recognised standards, including ISO 27001
  • Embedding innovation into leadership priorities and business development

Through initiatives such as our Excellence Award, we encourage, recognise and share innovation across the organisation.
