Epical at Microsoft Ignite 2025 – Focus on AI, Azure, and security
We at Epical are back from Microsoft Ignite 2025 in San Francisco – a week filled with insights, innovation, and networking. With over 20,000 participants on site and hundreds of thousands online, we got a clear picture of how quickly Microsoft's ecosystem is developing and what opportunities lie ahead.
AI everywhere in Microsoft's platform
This year's Ignite showed that AI now permeates Microsoft's entire offering. From Copilot and automation to new developer tools, the pace of innovation is impressive and opens entirely new ways to create customer value. We are already seeing how these features can be translated into practical scenarios for our customers.
Big news in Azure Integration Services
Ignite offered important updates on:
-
Logic Apps
-
API Management's unified features
-
Improved observability
-
Hybrid solutions such as Azure Local and Arc-enabled services
These developments strengthen the future of integration and give us new tools to build robust solutions.
Yahya Ajwad, Chief Architect Cloud Integration at Epical, shares his view on what these updates mean:
“The updates from MS Ignite 2025 clearly show where Microsoft is heading. They strengthen the entire integration platform and give us a more unified and future-ready foundation for building modern solutions. It’s also clear that AI has matured. After years of attempts to build with and for AI, we’re finally seeing a more coherent direction. One that helps us and our customers plan, prioritize, and build real strategies for how AI should be embedded into integration.”
Security and governance at every layer
Microsoft is investing heavily in security and compliance. With stronger identity protection, enhanced compliance tools, and automation for secure workloads, it’s easier than ever to create safe cloud environments – something that is critical for our customers’ digital journey.
Direct dialogue with product teams and the global community
One of the greatest benefits of Ignite is always the conversations with Microsoft’s own engineers and the global community. Asking questions directly to the product teams gives us insights into where technology is heading – not just where it stands today. And networking with partners and experts from around the world is invaluable.
What does this mean for our customers?
Now that the suitcases are unpacked and the jet lag has worn off, we’re already applying our new knowledge in ongoing projects. The insights from Ignite strengthen our advisory work, improve our integration designs, and open new possibilities for our customers.
A big thank you to the Microsoft team and the entire community for an amazing event! We’re inspired, motivated, and ready to turn what we’ve learned into real value.
